This is out last week and everything is starting to come to an end. On Tuesday my Jane Austen went to the British Library and we got see Jane Austen’s original writing desk as well as her journals that she wrote to her sister Cassandra. We also went to the National Portrait Gallery were we saw paintings done by Leonardo Da Vinci, Jane Austen’s original picture that her sister was able to draw, Queen Victoria I, and Queen Victoria II. They also have paintings of Princess Diana and Prince Harry, and William. Then we went to the National Art Gallery were we saw paintings from Van Gogh and Marco Angelo.  Lastly, we went to the Kenwood House were part of the film Mansfield Park was filmed and Parliament Square were you can view the city of London from the top of this hill.

For my Dance, Sports, and Games class we are going to have our last and final workout session at the park. This should be fun and I’m ready to have a major workout. Our last trip for this class will be the Victoria and Albert Museum followed by anything else that we want to do. I am looking forward for this field trip and I enjoyed going to all the field trips from my classes. It was a wonderful experience and exploring London was amazing. There are so many things to do and places to go.

Week three has been an adventure because the class went to the park to do some exercise and on Tuesday we were able to go to the Emirates stadium, which is the home of the Arsenal soccer team. This was a very enjoyable trip, I loved the tour that was provided and it was amazing going to the soccer players dressing room. I was able to take a lot of photographs and it was truly a wonderful experience. Throughout this week I also enjoyed going to Hyde Park and seeing the memorial fountain that has been placed there for Princess Diana. I think it is beautiful and the public can enjoy spending time with their children at the park, its also a great place for kids to get wet in the fountain.

In my Jane Austen class I watched two films called Northanger Abbey and Persuasion. Northanger Abbey was not one of my favorite movies, but Persuasion was wonderful. They are romantic and fun to watch. On Tuesday evening  I was able to go with this other class and take the Jack the Ripper tour. This tour was very interesting and I was hoping it was going to be better, but it really wasn’t what I expected. I am looking forward for Thursday because I am going to Bath with my Jane Austen class and we will be visiting areas around Bath that are associated with Jane Austen and the films.
