This week has been amazing! Not only because I was out and about all week, but also because it was my 21st birthday J on Monday. I can tell everyone that asks what I did for my 21st that I celebrated it in London. You don’t hear that very often from other people. For my birthday I went to a few bars in Camden town and friends bought me drinks.
Beginning with Saturday, I went to Brighton beach which was beautiful. The water was not freezing, that is unusual and they have pier. I got on this ride that was on the edge of the ocean on a platform which was super scary. After the beach we went to the O2 center and watched the movie “Horrible Bosses”. Totally recommend this movie it was hilarious. On Sunday I went to Hampton Court which is a beautiful royal palace. I have also visited the Portobello market. They have a variety of items from antiques, to food, to clothes. I really love their scarves. I have been to some local restaurants which have real good food unlike what we get in the refectory. I visited the Arsenal stadium which was awesome. I’m beginning to appreciate soccer now. When I get back home I am going to start watching it more.
I still have many places to visit. I really feel like watching a musical. That is something I must accomplish before I depart. Also, I am curious to see what their night clubs are like. There is only about a week left so I will have to act fast because I do not want to be in a rush once packing comes around.
