Last week the classes were really fun and I enjoyed them. The first thing that we did on Monday the 18 was go to the Museum of Childhood. This was very interesting to me. I did not get to look around the museum, but I did get to look at the gift shop. The women that talked to us at the Museum of Childhood showed us a British game called Columbia Land of the West. This was a game about America. It was very interesting, and I really enjoyed looking at the toys and the games she let us look at. She also showed us a doll that had to have new legs put back on her. I’m also going back there with the other class that I’m in and now that the women showed us how to look up items that they have, I know now how to get on their website, and look up some things so I can look at them at my next visit.
The other thing that we did in class last week was go to the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum. This was so neat! I enjoyed learning about this. I learned a lot about Tennis and Wimbledon. I did not know how hard it was to get to tickets to the matches. That really surprised me. I really enjoyed this field trip!
We also got to dance last week! I thought that this was so much fun. I really enjoyed learning how to square dance. It was a great workout. I feel so in shape by being in this class. I know that this week will be fun too!
