It turned out to be another eventful week here in London. With my second week behind me, all that I have to remember each day by are pictures that I have on my camera or pictures that my family has put up on Facebook. Unlike last week, this week we had something planned almost each day that we went out. Monday I started my day with a class field trip to The Children’s Museum, which really gave me an outlook on toys that were used in the past. We have progressed a long way from spinning tops. Later that day I went to Camden Market and then had dinner with the family and watched the movie Friday. It shocked me that I was the only one who has really seen it so it was a must that everyone watched it. On Tuesday I went to the Natural History Museum for most of the day which was really amazing. It was actually so big that I didn’t even get through the whole thing. Later that day, the family and I went to Sainsbury’s to get a few household items. The rest of that day was just a relax day and I ordered from Alpha’s Pizza which was awesome.

On Wednesday, Dr. Lewis gave us our quiz, which I aced, and taught the class how to line dance, square dance, and the naked mole rat. I wasn’t too sure if everyone in the class knew what they were getting themselves into by signing up to take a class with Dr. Lewis haha. Later on that night the Family and I ended up at the Lion bar for a couple drinks and then headed over to the Australian bar called Walkabout on Finchley and just enjoyed some music and of course a couple more drinks. On Thursday we went to Wimbledon Museum. I would have to say that that was the best museum that we have been to yet. When you see things on television you wonder what it looks like in person and that is what it was like for me. Being able to the Wimbledon tennis court in person and the club as a whole was awesome. Friday Natalie and I went to Camden Market again to pick up souvenirs for family member in the states and did a little shopping for myself. Then later that night we all went to the zoo at night which was pretty cool. I haven’t been to a zoo in about ten years so I was excited like a little kid. Saturday the whole family dressed up and went to a Polo match in Richmond. We were a little over dressed but it didn’t matter because we all were looking good that day. We had lunch as well while we there and I ate a rocky road sundae which was one of the best desserts I’ve had since I’ve been here. To complete my weekend, Saturday night was my first foam party down at the Walkabout and it was great. I attempted to keep the foam away from my mouth and getting inside but I was unsuccessful. So that became too much for me and I headed home. However, it was another successful week in London.  There are two weeks down and two weeks to go before we head back to the states. I hate to see it go but I miss my family, so the closer the better. Until then I’m going to enjoy my time here and soak it all in.
